Police are still investigating the cause of a horrific car crash in Bradford which led to the tragic death of two teenagers. 18-year-old Ather Ayaz, and Mohammed Hamza Ali, also 18, were killed when the red Honda Civic they were travelling in left the road and drove through a bollard on Manningham Lane earlier this week. Shortly before the collision, police believe the car was involved in a separate collision with a silver Audi A4. A man and woman, both aged 20, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on bail. Sergeant Ann Drury, of the Major Collision Enquiry Team at West Yorkshire Police, said that the cause of the crash was still uncertain yet confirmed the incident occurred around 7.30pm on Tuesday 4th November. Sgt Drury said: “We believe there was some sort of incident between the two vehicles but we are at a very early stage of the investigation and we are trying to establish the circumstances. “It occurred a few minutes before the fatal collision and we are led to believe it was a little distance away. “We are keen to hear from anyone who saw anything occur between the Audi and the Honda.” A Facebook page has been set up in remembrance of the two teenagers with messages left by friends and family.
