The 12 year-old hit-and-run case of Salman Khan was slated to have a hearing on 5th November but it has now been deferred to November 24th.
The last development in the case was when JW Mariott’s parking assistant had recognized actor Salman Khan sitting on the driver’s seat of the land cruiser that had rammed into a suburban street killing one and injuring four others.
The case has been through many twists to date.
In the midst of all trials, in August the Mumbai Police had told the court that the case diary consisting of all the case documents had gone missing in addition to 55 of the 63 case related documents.
Although post retrieval, the court has now asked the prosecution to submit a new plan of action.
The hearing has now been postponed towards the end of November and only time will tell what will be the fresh twists in this trial.
