More than 1,500 people headed down to Dewsbury’s premier wedding venue earlier this month as they got a chance to explore the elegant surroundings of Orchid through a special wedding and lifestyle fair.
Throughout the day, a huge footfall came through the Orchid doors with intrigued visitors travelling from across the North of England to see what event catering is supposed to look like.
From wedding car hire companies to jewellers, staging to lighting, and of course hair and make-up specialists, every aspect of a husband-and-wife-to-be’s big day was covered, all under one roof.
Nazura Mutvalli, who manages Orchid alongside her business partner, Yusuf Chothia, said she was thrilled to see so many people visit the site and make the day a very memorable one for all involved.
“I just want to say thank you to everyone who came down earlier this month to help make the day such a success,” she said.
“From businesses to guests on the day, the feedback has been terrific and I look forward to meeting many of you again in the near future.”
Orchid, based in Dewsbury, is the next level of event catering with three floors of elegant decor making it the ideal setting for every occasion.
More than eight months were spent redeveloping the building from a run-down site to the beautiful setting it is today.
Extensions were built, whilst a complete overhaul of the interior allowed for spaces to open up and serve as three floors of attainable space, including an overlooking mezzanine.
Officially launched in August, the site has already played host to a series of weddings, parties and even meetings, with the wedding fair being tipped as just the first of many for the future – so don’t worry if you missed out on this month’s event.
For a wedding, up to 1,000 people can be catered for at any time, with in-house catering available from the Orchid team meaning there is even less planning required for the future Mr and Mrs.
Everything from the table decorations through to the authentic menus can be provided for the happy couple, only making the once in a lifetime experience, even more perfect.
There is even a quaint, elegant bridal room, acting as the perfect area for ladies to relax away from the crowds on their big day.
“There is nowhere else quite like Orchid in Dewsbury,” Nazura continued. “This size and this exclusivity has never been seen around here so we are really excited about welcoming guests for a long, long time.”
