Plans have been submitted to Leeds City Council for a new Rolls-Royce dealership on Gelderd Motor Park, which is due to open in 2018.
Stratstone, owned by Nottingham-headquartered Pendragon, has submitted plans for the first Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Retail Centre in Yorkshire. The purpose-built showroom, the luxury brand’s eighth, will open in the first half of 2018 and showcase both new and provenance pre-owned Rolls-Royce cars as well as offering a full after sales services.
Carlisle-based architecture firm, Unwin Jones Partnership has worked with Pendragon on the application.
Construction will begin in Leeds once the application is approved and the new development will help Stratstone to expand its presence in the UK market.
The Leeds dealership will be set between Stratstone’s existing BMW and MINI dealerships and the creation of the Rolls-Royce premises will lead to a removal of some signage and parking at the two locations.
Covering 7,500 sq ft, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Leeds will have the full range of Rolls-Royce vehicles including the Ghost Series II family, Wraith, and Dawn, as well as the new Black Badge models.
The office will be open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm on Saturdays and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
Pendragon also recently began its search for team members to work at the brand new dealership has begun.
The business was looking for a head of business to be responsible for running all aspects of the dealership, leading the transformation of this luxury brand under the Pendragon umbrella.
