Bradford-based food and drink manufacturer, Regal Food Products Group Plc, continues to grow from strength-to-strength, dusting off competition in the bakery sector.
Now Regal Food’s CEO, Younis Chaudhry, met with King Charles III to attend a royal reception at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday 16th November.
Mr Chaudhry had the opportunity to speak with King Charles III about Regal Food Products Group Plc, and business within the food and drink sector.
The reception recognised small and medium sized businesses who contribute greatly to the economy of the United Kingdom. The Earl of Wessex, The Duke of Gloucester and The Duke of Kent were also in attendance.
Earlier this year the Regal Food Products Group received UK’s highest accolade in business – The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise: International Trade, giving the company the royal seal of approval.
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious awards for UK businesses and is a globally recognised royal seal of approval for UK companies.
Regal Foods manufacture and distribute a wide range of south Asian and mainstream bakery products, confectionery and drinks, extending to 380 products. They export to over 40 countries and distribute to over 3,000 independent stores and major supermarket chains, such as Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Lidl.
The company’s success has seen overseas sales grow by 77% over the last three years.
