In a glittering ceremony that celebrated the best and brightest of the British Pakistan community, a rising star has emerged, capturing a prestigious Pakistan Achievement Award.
Hassnain Sajjad – director at Batley Law, was honoured with the coveted ‘Rising Star’ accolade at the 14th Pakistan Achievement Awards International on Saturday, 17th August 2024, at the iconic Royal Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
This recognition not only celebrates individual excellence but also shines a spotlight on the remarkable contributions of the Pakistani diaspora to the global landscape.
Bringing together luminaries from various fields to celebrate the best and brightest of Pakistani heritage, our award-winning legal eagle, whose journey from humble beginnings to international acclaim is nothing short of inspirational, embodies the spirit of resilience and excellence that the Pakistan Achievement Awards seek to honour.
“Alhamdulillah, I’m humbled and honoured to be recognised as ‘Rising Star Of The Year 2024’ at the Pakistani Achievers Awards, held at the prestigious Royal Ascot,” Mr Sajjad says.
“It’s been an incredible journey over the last few years, since joining Batley Law we’ve achieved some amazing milestones. From doubling our online reviews to growing the team, from building a CRM portal from scratch to doubling our turnover.
“From building capacity to giving back to the community through our newly formed foundation. The reality is all of this has been made very easy as I’m part of an amazing team.”
He adds: “Having worked successfully in Retail Management, Islamic Finance, The Charity Sector and now Law. I’m grateful to all those, past and present, that have supported my growth and development. None more so than my parents whose prayers allow us to get through many challenges on a day to day basis.”
The Pakistan Achievement Awards International, now in its 14th year, has become a cornerstone event in recognising the immense contributions of Britons of Pakistani heritage to the UK’s economy and society.
This year’s awards hold special significance, being dedicated to His Majesty King Charles III, continuing the tradition of aligning with momentous occasions and figures. Previous dedications have included the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee and tributes to iconic personalities like Abdul Sattar Edhi and Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
