Christmas has come early this year! Warner Bros’ trailer for the yuletide action-adventure “Red One,” starring Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans and J.K. Simmons as Saint Nick. shows a lot of fun and excitement.
In the trailer, Johnson takes an ordinary Hot Wheels car from a toy store and turns it into a full-sized Chevy Corvette using some space-aged Christmas technology. “You don’t have a Wonder Woman action figure, do you?” Evans asks the cashier while leaving the store. “Not how it works, come on!” Johnson barks in response.
From what we can see in the trailer, the dynamic pairing of Johnson and Evans will be unique and be reminiscent of Johnson’s other films like Red Notice and Central Intelligence, where Johnsonis seen as the ‘big tough guy’.
What’s also interesting is that there’s going to be some action mixed with a little Christmas cheer and we’re excited to see how Jumanji director Jake Kasdan will do this.
Distributed by Warner Bros., Red One will be released on 8th November in UK cinemas.
