Bradford’s Tasif Khan is less than one week away from the biggest fight of his career, as he prepares to face off against two time Commonwealth title challenger, Isaac Quaye, for the World Boxing Federation (WBF) International Super Flyweight Championship.
Fighting on the undercard of the highly anticipated Roy Jones Jr – Tony Moran bout, Khan will be hoping to continue his perfect record since returning after 25 months out of action.
Having picked up the International Masters title in May, the fight with Ghanian Quaye will be a big test but one the local ace says he is ready for.
“I don’t look past any opponent and always train accordingly, we know Isaac Quaye is a tough opponent and in terms of World ranking he’s a lot higher than me, so it’s a win, win situation for me,” he said.
“I have full respect for him outside the ring, but inside the ring I have no mercy for anyone, I want to go in there and cause damage as I want to win, so let’s get it on.”
Khan and Quaye will face off at the Aintree Equestrian Centre on Saturday 12th September.
Tickets are priced between £40 and £100 whilst VIP Ringside is available for £150. Contact Tasif directly on 07968 292922 to reserve your seat today.
