Foodies fall head-over-heels for Real Burger Inc
For years, students, workers and residents in the Woodhouse region of Leeds have been spoilt for choice over where to go for dinner.
From sandwich shops galore to patisseries and cafes, Woodhouse Lane has become a foodie heaven for all lunchtime voyagers.
Now, with diners looking to sample something new in the region, the street’s latest eatery promises to offer something REAL-ly special, with burgers and shakes at the heart of the menu.
Real Burger Inc opened its doors for the first time on Saturday 29th October, bringing an array of exciting new American-inspired dishes to the area.
From high-stacked burgers to creamy and unique muffin-shakes, the establishment has something for every taste.
Basharat Hussain is the owner of the establishment and has been working in the catering industry for over 25 years, previously running a sandwich shop on the same street.
Today he says he is ‘more excited than ever’ to be serving up fresh flavours.
“What we noticed in Woodhouse was that the area was becoming saturated with Sandwich shops, and competition in that market is fierce,” he said.
“However, there was a gap in the market for something a little bit different – somewhere you can go to grab a burger or a shake, dine in or takeaway, and feel like you are eating a genuine American meal.
“It has taken over 18 months to turn this vision into a reality and today we are delighted to be able to welcome diners to Real Burger Inc.”
Unique to Real Burger Inc is their line of muffin shakes.
Unlike your ordinary milkshakes, these devilish concoctions blend your favourite muffin with a flavoured ice cream, to create a seriously thick and irresistibly tasty drink.
Topped off with a muffin on top, the shake is a must-try for any sweet tooth out there.
“It’s just a fun idea really which has already proved popular with our customers,” Basharat added.
“We have a Cornetto option as well, which works in the same way, with a Cornetto blended into the mixture and another one stuck into the top to enjoy.
“People have been sharing the shakes and the more adventurous have been taking them on solo.”
The American-inspired diner – which serves only halal certified meat – promises to serve up a treat to all those who visit the eatery this month.
Just be sure to bring your appetite with you, as this is a place for true food fans.
