Two years after assaulting a South African National in Mumbai, Saif Ali Khan has been charged for assaulting the director of trade investments – Mr Iqbal Sharma in South Africa.
The hearing against the ‘Nawab of Pataudi’ is scheduled to start from April 30th.
Khan had reportedly broken Iqbal Sharma’s nose following a scuffle at a restaurant in the famous Taj Hotel.
Sharma is a South African national of Indian origin and is the deputy director-general of Trade and Investment in South Africa. Allegedly, in 2012, Sharma had objected to the noise created by Saif and his friends at the hotel, following which Saif and his friends beat up Sharma.
